What is Radiofrequency (Golden Needle)?

Radiofrequency has been used for a long time in the field of skin and cosmetology. With the developing technology, this method has evolved considerably. A very effective method has been developed by adding two new features to the classical radiofrequency method. The first is the fractionalization of the radiofrequency Gold Needle method. In this technique, the force to be applied penetrates the skin from many small points side by side, not as a whole. In this way, the damage to the intact tissues in between is less. Thus, the second generation radiofrequency devices, “fractional radiofrequency”, more commonly known as Thermage (thermage) devices, took place in the market. The second innovation added after this stage is the third generation radiofrequency devices that deliver energy flow directly into the skin with micro-needles.

The current output unit of the radiofrequency device equipped with micro-needles bypasses the epidermis, the upper layer of the skin, and reaches the middle layer called the dermis.
